yes, it was amazing!
Now we are heading to Rock Springs. So we take 80.... it's about 260 Miles from Chyenne to Rock Springs. it's beautiful and warm out, but on the 80 it looks warm.... feels warm, but at the same time the wind is a chilling cold.... like it's blowing across snow on to me.... burrrrr......
I'm leading, and I have to stop at a point of interest..... why? so I can take some pictures!
The above picture is my favorite one so far... that is looking at Colorado... Just beautiful!
So we get back on the road, and the wind really picks up.... we must be getting gusts of 50 mpg.... sometimes a little more I think.... we are riding sideways.... what the heck!!!!
So all I have to say is Route 80 from Cheyenne to Rock Springs is not for the faint of heart.... not for a beginner rider..... it was not fun.... it was a work out.... it was a little crazy.... locals said it isn't always that way.... but, it is more than it isn't....
We finilly get to Rock Springs get off exit 102 and there is the Harley dealer, we go in before getting a hotel and run into Rich....
he is a local, and sets us up at a hotel.... tells us where to eat, what to eat, and brings me garbage bags to put over my luggage so it won't get wet in the rain.... What a blessing he was....Thanks Rich! Rich has cancer attacking his bones .... so whoever reads this... please say a prayer for him....
We went to Lew's family dinner for dinner and I had for the first time.....
Rocky Mountain Oysters....
Heading up to Jackson tomorrow.... back roads.... sweet!
RIP Rich..... I will never forget your kindness. <3 you will forever be in my heart!
