We came over the crest of the hill and there they were in the distance..... The Grand Tetons... Little did I know that this was going to get more awesome the closer we got to Jackson..... I had no idea that before long we wouldn't only be seeing the mountains in front of us.... we are about to be surrounded by them!!! Amazing.....
There they are in the distance...
it seemed like the clouds were lower than the mountains....
Part of the Oregon Trail.... look you can still see the marks from the wagon wheels....
now we are surrounded on all sides by the mountains....
a lot of water from the rain and the snow melt off.... I have no clue what the normal depth would be.... but, it was running high.
Inside the Bridger Teton National Forest. Then what we saw next we didn't get pictures of..... We were in Awe..... no place to park and our senses were over taken with the wonder around us..... First in a canyon with slides on both sides.... then not long after that we come out of a right curve right into mountains protruding right in front of us, it took my breath away.
Then we came into a valley.... Mike leading, me in the middle, and Lou tail..... Lou was just cruising way back...... I laughed.... we were all done in by the beauty around us... This is why we rode all the way here.... To see and experience the beauty.....
I can't even imagine what Yellowstone is going to be like tomorrow!

A little bit of Advice to those who come here..... I have a good bit of wind burn on my face..... I should have had a bandanna on for the long rides in the winds......
We got a great room for a decent price... it's a suite with two rooms.. so we can split the cost....
Love following this - must be a dream come true. Very happy for you guys!!!
