Day...10

Looks like Rain....... but, we decide to go to Sturgis anyway....

First we went to the Sturgis Harley Dealer..

We stay parked at the Harley Dealer..... and walk around town.... We got a few nice things.... we also got to talk to some locals to hear their opinion on the Rally and what has happened over the years with the town and the Rally....

We didn't get the Gentleman's name, but he said that a lot has changed in the town since the 1960's...
"he said that the rally was small about 15000 people, then in the 80's the town pushed for a bigger rally, and that when everyone leaves after the rally is over, the town closes up too... " He was visiting his grand daughter, she worked at the shop we went into.... He told us a good place to eat lunch.. and yummy it was good..... Steak tips at the Loud American......

 

The Guys got a bit silly!

Storms have been threatening us all day.....

We decide to go to the Full Throttle Saloon

Pretty cool place, very Huge!!!!

 Look who came to greet us!?

We go in and walk around and we find that this place is just Huge!!!!!!

Lou found a Bike to ride......

and yes, those are two buses... Full size buses!

 

And this is where some people camp....

Over all today was low key and relaxing..... We just hung in sturgis, got back to the hotel, and relaxed on the porch of the hotel.... waiting for the HUGE storm to roll in... that never did come.... but, that is fine with me..... Going to play tomorrow by ear... don't know what the weather is going to be like....
