We left Iowa, and it was pretty windy..... then the weather got really nice and the wind calmed down.... The speed limit in Iowa is 75. We had to slow down to 60 sometimes for construction, and it felt like we were going 20 MPH..... wow....
Iowa was absolutely beautiful.... lush rolling hills... very green..... Blue sky puffy clouds..... just amazing.
Mike, Lou and I are getting a rhythm down as we ride.... by the end of this trip we should be one with each other, being able to know what the other rider is going to do before the rider does it....
We were just 2 Miles away from to Colorado boarder, so we had to go and get a picture of the Welcome to Colorado sign,
and we looked across the street and there was YES.... a welcome to Nebraska sign .... sweet!
Something that we did find in Nebraska, is there isn't always 91 or 93 gas at gas stations so we had to run on 89 a couple of time..... Lou and Mike noticed a difference in the bike.... I didn't, except my milage went to crap.... 35 MPG .... ok I guess going 75 + MPG does eat gas....
We got into Cheyenne, WY and found a decent hotel, and ordered pizza.... Yummy Papa Johns.... That's it for tonight......
