Day.......2

We left Joliet, Il this morning, heading West on 80... From Il, we went to Iowa....

What a beautiful State Iowa is.... mind you I only saw it from Rt 80 but it is lush and green full of rolling hills and farms....  Just beautiful! 

It was over cast, and sometimes misty out, and then it got very windy.... The wind beat the crap out of us, instead of getting 48 to 50 MPG, I got 38..... could be partly because of the 70 MPH speed limit too.  We wanted to get to Lincoln, NE, but we only got as far as Omaha, NE.  ( I was really upset that the was no sign welcoming us to Nebraska..... darn no photo op....)

Tomorrow more we are going to get an earlier start and shoot for at least Cheyenne. Going to hit Colorado too, they better have a Welcome to Colorado sign.... !)

I guess there is flooding North and East of us.... Think it's going to rain tonight while we sleep, as it did last night, but didn't get wet at all today.... just misted on.... I thought of Tena, putting on her rainsuit .. in the mist.. Love You girl! Hopefully it will be the same tomorrow... dry traveling....

I have Weather Bug on my phone..... I've been getting Weather alearts for flooding near us.... but, east and North of us.... and a Tornado Warning in Deadwood.... where we will be going next week....

We are all safe and sound though.... keeping track of everything around us.... Thanks for all the prayers and thoughts......
